Natural Disasters
Introduction
* A natural disaster is a major event resulting from a natural process of the Earth; examples include floods, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, and other types of weather. A natural disaster can cause loss of life or property damage, and typically leaves some economic damage in its wake.
You will write an article about a chosen natural disaster to be included in a classroom magazine. It will include a report, a bibliography, and a choice of either pictures, labelled diagram, map or eyewitness account.
You can use resources found in our media center, online, or the public library.
